The International Relations Faculty offers studies of an interdisciplinary character. They are aimed at providing comprehensive knowledge of modern international relations in Europe and the world. The program includes knowledge pertaining to political, social, legal and economic science.
The purpose of education is to impart the knowledge and skills that graduates need in order to perform their appropriate roles in socio-political, economic and cultural life, under the conditions of growing global and regional integration, especially in Europe, to learn and understand the mechanisms of the functioning of international relations and the world economy.
BA Program
Graduate Profile
International Relations graduates will be equipped with knowledge falling within political, legal and economic sciences enabling them to learn and understand the character and mechanisms of the functioning of the field of international relations and the world economy. They will also acquire the skill of analyzing the socio-economics of the country including an international perspective. They will have the skill of effective communication, negotiation, and persuasion. An International Relation graduate is a person who has a working knowledge of at least one foreign language, especially the terminology of international affairs, competently using a computer and applications, and able to employ modern communication techniques.
The dynamic development of international cooperation and increasing participation of our country in it brings a need for numerous specialists servicing institutions and companies collaborating with foreign counterparts. Knowledge of international relations, foreign languages and computer technology will allow graduates to easily find employment in European organizations and institutions, national and local administrations, national organizations, institutions and companies oriented to international cooperation as well as representative offices of foreign institutions in Poland.
International Relations graduates can continue studies in the MA Management Program, choosing a specialty connected with their first level (BA) studies.
